Alan Fischer

As the owner, founder, and senior wealth manager of Great Lakes Wealth Advisors, I work directly with clients on a daily business. It’s my job—and my passion—to help people understand their investments and guide them up to and through their retirement years. I want to give each client the confidence that their investments are being managed, so they can rest easier and simply enjoy themselves.

Never one to stray too far from the Great Lakes, I attended the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater. I owned a safety consulting business for several years, where I performed risk assessments in the commercial insurance world; this sparked my interest in finance, and I shifted my focus to helping people manage risk in their investments instead. I’ve now been in the financial world for close to 20 years, and have loved every minute of it.

I am a Retirement Income Certified Professional and an Accredited Asset Management Specialist, so you can trust that I have the knowledge, training, and experience needed to help you manage financial risks and set yourself up for a successful retirement.

As an avid outdoorsman, I enjoy taking advantage of Wisconsin’s many opportunities for hunting and fishing, particularly deer and turkey hunting in North Central Wisconsin and fishing on Lake Winnebago. Each August, I proudly participate in the Wounded Heroes’ Fishing Event, taking groups of veterans out for some walleye fishing. In addition, I am an active member of the Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce. Giving back to my community is a core value, and I’m committed to helping individuals and families work toward lasting financial success.
